
Bob Dean
General Manager / Junior Program Coordinator
Bob has 36 years of teaching experience as a PTR Certified Professional. Bob has worked with students of all ages and has produced numerous players that have played collegiate tennis. Bob’s students have gone on to play at schools such as Sacred Heart University, Fordham University, University of Hartford and Boston University. In addition to his role at East Hartford, Bob is also the Director of Tennis for Newington Parks and Recreation, managing 8 clay and har tru tennis courts located at Mill Pond Park.

Scott Snow
Director of Tennis
Scott Snow has been teaching tennis for 30 years. He is USPTA certified with a P-1 rating. Scott has been ranked #1 in New England doubles 15 times , and has been ranked as high as #2 in singles in New England and #5 in Doubles and #27 in singles nationally.

Sharon Murphy
Assistant Director of Tennis
Sharon played #1 singles for the university of New Hampshire and graduated with a BA in Mathematics. After college, Sharon worked in the business world but in 2003 decided that teaching tennis was her passion. Sharon attended Van Der Meer Teaching University and received her PTR certification: In 2005 she was awarded CT PTR member of the year and most recently in 2011 awarded PTR New England Pro of the year. Sharon is a National Trainer for USTA in “10 and under Tennis” and “RCW’S” Recreational Coaches Workshop. She is currently certified at the Professional Level by PTR in both Junior and Adult Development, and also a Junior Development clinician for PTR.
Mike Carducci
Tennis Professional / High Performance Director
Mike played #2 singles and #2 doubles at North Carolina State University where he achieved Atlantic Coast All-Conference status. He was a former #1 ranked player in New England in singles and doubles, four-time New England Open champion and two-time New England Prep School champion. Mike has been teaching for almost 20 years and has coached numerous college players who have attended colleges such as University of Hartford, Emory College, Sacred Heart University, WPI and St. Bonaventure. Mike runs various high performance clinics for advanced junior players.

Keith Salmon
Tennis Professional
Keith grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and was ranked #1 in the Middle States Tennis Association as high as #15 nationally. He served as Pete Sampras' hitting partner for 6 months in 1995 in Tampa, FL. Keith attended N.C. State University where he served as captain of his team his junior and senior years. He proceeded to earn all ACC honors at N.C. State University graduating with a business degree. Keith taught at the Farmington Valley Racquet Club for 15 years and he was the Head Tennis Professional at The Hartford Golf Club from 2008-2016.
